Last week we had the amazing opportunity to attend the Carter G Woodson Open House Outreach event in the City of Crisfield, at Carter G Woodson Elementary, to share resources that support career and workforce development.

Our Career Coach Liaison, Thomas S., Shares: "On Thursday August 29th, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Carter G. Woodson Open House Outreach Event in Crisfield. The Lower Shore Workforce Alliance was able to assist parents and family members of the Woodson community by connecting them with resources and services for career and workforce development. We were able to help over seventy community conscious and involved individuals whose little ones are taking their first steps into public school life. We really appreciate Carter G. Woodson Elementary School for hosting the event and Community School Liaison Sherri Allen for inviting us.”

At the Lower Shore Workforce Alliance, our mission is to be the bridge for our community members to obtain amazing careers and career development opportunities. Events like this allow us to share what we do and what we offer.
