Lower Shore Workforce Alliance, in partnership with the Department of Education/DORS and other members of the Lower Shore Workforce Team, will be ”blitzing” small businesses in the tri-county area (Wicomico, Worcester & Somerset counties) who are located downtown or on main streets.
The challenge is to reach 300 businesses throughout the Lower Eastern Shore, with support from volunteers from local area businesses and partnering organizations, the week of Monday, October 16. Amongst this outreach, a token of appreciation will be given out to thank the companies for their contributions to the community and to thank them for their presence on the eastern shore.
Every business visited will be entered into a free raffle to win goodies and services donated by local businesses. The raffle prize will be revealed the week of the blitz. The event encourages community awareness, support, and engagement during the blitz; companies will be featured in our social media blitzing campaign. Click here to register--->
